What a terrific office!  Kendra was excellent scheduling my appointments and I was really impressed with Sam's quick and detailed assessment of what was causing my pain and discomfort. He immediately had me do three exercises and by the time I had done them for the week and returned, my pain had already subsided.  My next two appointments were with Jacob who was also able to further the building of my strength and mobility and added several more challenging exercises.  If you want exceptional personal attention and help, Back in Motion is impressive.  I will definitely return for any future issues that arise..

I researched Back in Motion, Brunswick and chose it over the suggestions of my PCP. And I do not regret it. With extensive experience as a PT patient, there are particular things I look for before wasting my time. Sam (clinical director) had trained and practiced elsewhere and therefore brought another interpretation to the practice. Shored up by Jacob (my PT) Regan and Kendra (front desk manager extraordinaire) they make an exceptionally caring, patient and informed team. I arrived with a severely fractured wrist which had been left unattended. Twice weekly sessions built my wrist strength and I did some additional basic work off hours. While I may never have full rotation again, 80% ability will suffice. Thank you team Back in Motion for the work and equally important, the laughs👏🏻

Very happy with the care I've been getting at Back in Motion. Sam Jandreau is an excellent provider. When I first went I could barely lift my arm and now at the five week mark I can lift my arm much closer to normal range. I feel so much better since starting PT here, and I highly recommend Back in Motion in Brunswick!  I’ve received personally designed physical therapy that works, and everyone here is kind, thoughtful, supportive, and most important, they listen to me. I was so impressed with Garrett at Back In Motion in Brunswick. I went to him for PT after a shoulder injury and would 100% recommend him. I learned a ton working with him and his team, made enormous progress with my shoulder, and honestly feel stronger now after months of PT than I did prior to the injury. Garrett went beyond just treating the shoulder injury and educated me on how my posture and everyday activities could contribute to injury risk in the future, and how I can modify and mitigate those risks. I certainly feel I received an education in addition to treatment for my injury and a host of exercises to continue at home.

I had an excellent experience at Back in Motion Physical Therapy. My husband did too! We both benefited from our time there under the expert care of Dan Sullivan. I had knee replacement surgery and my husband a back pain that plagued him for over a year. Dan immediatly identified the problem during his 1st visit and proceeded to do exercises with Paul that has helped immensely. I'm walking around pain free. We are both so grateful. I just had my one year appointment with the surgeon who took care of my dislocated shoulder. He tested my strength and range of motion and he was amazed. I told him I was also back to swimming again. He asked how I did it. I told him I worked with Dan Sullivan at Back in Motion PT in Brunswick, ME. Dan had me doing multiple exercises using exercise bands and free weights. This is my second time going to Back in Motion for a series of visits to address a physical problem. I cannot imagine getting better help anywhere! Their expertise is jaw-dropping, and they become friends who use their skills to help your body to heal. Garrett is my therapist this time around. The care and treatments I receive at Back in Motion have been incredible and life changing. These therapists care about their patients.  They are very knowledgeable and very helpful and listen carefully to provide the help you need. I went there to have better mobility with my arm and neck. I have been to other PT to fix my arm and neck and they didn’t work. I am so happy with the treatment that I got here cause they gave me the right exercises to do to help with my mobility in my arm and neck. Christina has been amazing! I had intense pain in my back and she figured out it was referred pain from my neck (after my prior MD and PT had not figured this out and were treating the wrong thing). She manipulated my pain away fairly quickly, and then taught me simple stretches and exercises to keep it away. She is so smart, working through various hypotheses as she goes along. She is so kind as I bumble through the directions and makes sure I know what to do. She also included not just what will help me with this neck problem but how the exercises will tie in to overall stronger living.
