We love being able to be treated at the Ft. Oglethorpe Excel Rehab Facility.  The people who work there are fabulous!  They are all friendly and professional.  Chris Velasco is the director and our PT.  He is knowledgeable and has helped me with several physical problems.  Jennifer (at the front desk) and Chris both work hard to make my husband’s and my schedules work.  They insure that we can come in at the same time.  I highly recommend this facility!

I can’t say enough great things about my experience with Excel Rehabilitation. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome, supported, and genuinely cared for. Everyone is incredibly considerate, knowledgeable, and friendly, which makes a huge difference when you’re going through recovery. I especially want to recognize my physical therapist, Chris Velasco. Chris is patient, attentive, and truly invested in my well-being. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, listens to my concerns, and tailors each session to help me achieve the best possible outcome. It’s clear that he genuinely cares—not just about the therapy itself, but about me as a person. Because of the team at Excel Rehabilitation, I’ve felt encouraged and confident throughout my recovery process. Excel Rehab in Fort Oglethorpe has been my saving grace. I didn’t know that PT could even help with chronic pain, but as Dr. Brennan says, “movement is medicine.” Brennan is an exemplary therapist and has helped me so much to strengthen the muscles that I didn’t know existed, which in turn has helped reduce the pain in my neck and upper body. Brennan is thorough and considerate   He listens to my concerns and addresses each one with kindness and compassion.  My first day there I was having a melt down from my hip surgery and he walked me through each exercise and was supportive when I asked him to wait a minute. Over the past several years I have been able to experience the benefits of many Rehab and Physical Therapy Clinics in the surrounding area, both in TN. and GA. I am proud to say that what I thought was a miscalculation on my part has become a Divine Intervention. The entire staff at Excel have been nothing short of incredible. From Jennifer the receptionist who has been so helpful in scheduling and managing the process of preparing documents needed to facilitate the process, to Caroline who is so dedicated to making the experience more enjoyable and fulfilling to Chris and the other Physical Therapists who have worked with me in the healing process. Their knowledge and support have been truly appreciated and I look forward to working with them in the future. Chris Velasco, PT has been a tremendous help to me. I learned more from his explanations on the first day than from doctors and my own research over many years. His therapy on the first day made a difference in my condition. He listened to my concerns. We are making progress in my goal to avoid surgery. I am thankful for him and the great staff at Excel Rehab. I want to especially thank Jennifer who worked with my physician’s office to process the referral and obtain all my records. She also works with my insurances to provide all the information they need. She is extremely efficient and manages many patients and appointments. I have been very happy with the physical therapy that I have received from Chris. He is very knowledgeable and has been able to assess my neck and determine a treatment plan that has helped.
